Friday, 6 September - Monday, 9 September.


OUR HOTEL is the 4 Star Swindon Marriott, this modern, luxurious hotel, which we will use as our base, is situated on the outskirts of Swindon Old Town, it has spacious bedrooms all with stylish decor, plush bedding, flat screen T.V. hairdryer, Iron.   The Hotel has a swimming pool which we can use free of charge.   

We are booked in for Half Board, with full English Breakfast and 3 course, 3 choice buffet dinner, with tea and coffee and jugs of iced water.


DAY 1  -  We make a short stop at a services, then continue our journey travelling through the beautiful COTSWOLDS countryside, stopping at STOW-ON-THE-WOLD, this quaint Cotswold village is famous for its variety of shops, some of which are antique shops.    We continue through the Cotswolds countyside stopping at BOURTON-ON-THE-WATER.   This is one of the more famous of the Cotswolds villages and has a stream running through the middle of it.   

From here we travel to our Hotel the 4 Star Swindon Marriott Hotel.    Once checked in why not stroll round the beautiful gardens, or take a dip in the inside pool.   Dinner in the Hotel's restaurant.

DAY 2  -  Today after breakfast,  we visit the Cathedral City of WINCHESTER, this quaint city has many different shops, plus of course the Cathedral and the Great Hall which is connected to King Arthur and the round table.   Enjoy lunch in one of the many cafes or restaurants in the city.   We return to the hotel late afternoon. 

DAY 3  -  After breakfast we set off for our day excursion to the beautiful city of ROYAL BATH.    On arrival we make our way to the famous ROMAN BATHS for our tour of these special baths, first we visit the museum and you have your own audio tour, then we are taken onto the Great Baths to see where the Romans used to bathe, after this you are allowed to drink the Spring Water.     

Rest of the day can be spent in and around Bath.   We return to the Hotel late afternoon.

DAY 4  -  After breakfastr we meet the coach, with our luggage and make our way to the famous BOMBAY SAPPHIRE GIN DISTILLERY, where we take the self guided Tour with interactive map, where you explore the distillery on your own terms, in your own time.   

This Experience showcases the very best of Bombay Sapphire Gin.   

Discover the 10 exotic botanicals in the gin, which are housed in the famous Glasshouses, then visit the Botanical Dry Room, where you can smell the botanicals and choose your favourite, make a note of them, and you can hand it in at the Mill Bar after the tour when the bartender will make you your cocktail to suit your taste, “on the House”.   

Immerse yourself in the history of gin in the Gallery then your experience culminates in the Mill Bar.   Every guest receives a drink suited to their personal taste profile “on the house”.     After your taster, visit the Shop where you can purchase your Gin or books on how to make Cocktails.


IMPORTANT:  Laverstoke Mill is a working distillery so they insist that guests wear suitable footwear.   PLEASE DO NOT WEAR OPEN-TOED SHOES OR HIGH HEELS on the experience as they will turn you away.


We depart from here and commence our journey home, making a short stop at a services, when the driver will give arrival home times.



PRICE PER PERSON:   £326.00 per person in Twin or Double Rooms.


SINGLE ROOM PRICE:   £386.00 and a Double Room will be used for Sole Occupancy.
