TUESDAY  -  Enjoy a full breakfast then we meet the coach for our day first visiting  SCONE PALACE.   The Palace has an exciting and colourful history as one of Scotland's most important stately homes.   It has been the seat of parliaments and the crowning place of Kings of Scotland.  It houses the famous Stone of Scone also known as the Stone of Destiny which was last used for the coronation of Queen Elizabeth 11.   You tour the Palace at your own speed and there are guides available in each room to answer any questions you might have about the Palace.

From here we head north through the Scottish Highlands to DEWARS WHISKEY DISTILLERY, which is just outside Aberfeldy.   We take a tour of the distillery to see how they create the distinctive honeyed richness of the Aberfeldy spirit, followed by a tasting of Scotch Whiskey in the Whiskey Lounge.    Evening Dinner

in the Hotels Restaurant.

WEDNESDAY  -  Full Breakfast and today we head for the seaside town of ST ANDREWS, home of the famous University and the Golf Course.   On our first visit last year we did not have time to explore the town so we have decided to return to this beautiful town  whose centre consists of a series of narrow alleys and cobbled streets with shops, restaurants and cafes, spend some time looking round the Castle.

From here we travel on to Scotland's best kept secret - SCOTLAND'S SECRET BUNKER,  which is set hidden beneath an innocent Scottish farmhouse which was built to help safeguard Scotland during the Cold War in the event of a nuclear attack.   The secret Bunker lies 100 feet underground and is the size of 2 football pitches one on top of the other which houses a Command Centre, Dormitories, BBC Broadcasting Studio, Chapel and a cafe.    We return to our hotel  and Evening Dinner is in the restaurant.

THURSDAY  -  Full Breakfast and today we visit GLAMIS CASTLE,  known as Scotland’s most beautiful Castle and the childhood home of the Queen Mother and birthplace of Princess Margaret.

We will meet a guide who will take us through the rooms of this lovely palace and explain in detail all about it.   After the tour, explore the beautiful walled  gardens, visit the Pavilion Shop or the Victorian Kitchen Restaurant.

OR if you do not wish to visit Glamis Castle, you have a free day in Perth to explore.

We return to our hotel  and Evening Dinner is in the restaurant.
