The Palace has an exciting and colourful history as one of Scotland’s most important stately homes.   It has been the seat of parliaments and the crowning place of Kings of Scotland.

It houses The Stone of Scone, also known as Stone of Destiny which was last used for the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.

Poised above the River Tay, Scone Palace overlooks north to the highlands with the Grampians as a backdrop.

You tour the Palace at your own speed and there are guides available in each room to answer any questions you might have about the Palace.

After you have explored the Palace, make a visit to the gardens, as they are as splendid as the Palace itself, look out for the Red Squirrels.

From here we travel through the Scottish Highlands to DEWARS WHISKEY DISTILLERY, which is just outside Aberfeldy.

Join a tour of the distillery to see how they create the distinctive honeyed richness of their Aberfeldy spirit.
